Hi, I'm Christie

I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but I always felt a stronger connection to Croatia. Now I share hidden beaches, authentic food and island life, and the ongoing culture clash of balancing my life with Croatian traditions, family opinions, and the belief that every problem can be solved with coffee, food, or rakija.

I'm married to a Dalmatian and we have two daughters, so Croatia has always been special for us. Our dream is moving there. Follow along and see where the journey takes us.
